About Indian Association of Muscular Dystrophy (IAMD)

Since our inception in 1992, IAMD has remained steadfast in its dedication to supporting individuals affected by Muscular Dystrophy (MD) across India. Our unwavering efforts are focused on providing relief and rehabilitation tailored to the unique needs of those living with this challenging condition.
In 2018, we established the Integrated Muscular Dystrophy Center (IMDRC) - 'Manav Mandir,' situated in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. This distinguished centre offers a comprehensive range of services, including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, counselling, diagnostic support, and rejuvenation programs, all aimed at enhancing the quality of life for MD patients and their families.
