The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) at NIT Hamirpur is dedicated to facilitating internship and placement opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students. Operating under the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, the TPC acts as a bridge between students and leading industry organizations, ensuring a smooth transition from academia to the workforce.

The TPC offers a variety of services, including internship coordination, placement facilitation, and student grooming. It organizes orientation programs, mock interviews, and manages training and placement events on campus. The cell connects students with over 550 companies, boasting a placement rate of approximately 90–93%, particularly in branches like Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. Students have access to an online portal for tracking placement status and applying for job drives, enhancing their employability through valuable resources and training sessions.
