Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College, Sundernagar (JNGEC) is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute is recognized as a Tier-II college by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. Established in 2006, JNGEC is the first state government engineering college in Himachal Pradesh. It is located in Sundernagar, District Mandi, and is affiliated with Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur.
The institute offers four-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs in the following disciplines:

Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)

It also offers a two-year Master of Technology (M.Tech) program in Civil Engineering.
