The Company was created in 1988 after the transfer of some manufacturing units of the HP State Industrial Development Corporation Limited. initially to M/s.Himalaya Fertilizers Limited a subsidiary Company of HPSIDC at that time. Subsequently in itself Himalaya Fertilizers Limited was renamed as HP General Industries Corporation (HPGICL) and became an independent Public Sector undertaking of the State The registered office of the new Company is at Shimla and the Company today managing following factories/activities: 1.
