Geap Group is a family-run conglomerate based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a history dating back to the early 1970s. Founded by Mr. Mahendra Patel, the company began as an electrodes operation in India before expanding to the UAE to meet the growing infrastructure needs of the region. Over the years, Geap has diversified into various sectors, including construction, steel processing, food distribution, logistics, shipchandling, and agriculture.
The group operates through seven subsidiaries, each specializing in different industries. Geap International focuses on steel processing, supplying steel rebars and offering cut-and-bend services. G-2 International provides downstream steel services, while Plastaspray UAE manufactures road-marking paints. Geap Foods distributes a variety of food products, and Geap Transport offers logistics services. Additionally, Geap Farms is involved in agricultural production. The company is a significant player in the UAE's construction market, supplying a substantial portion of the region's steel requirements and participating in notable projects like the Burj Khalifa and Dubai International Airport.
