Effervescence, IIIT Allahabad, is the annual cultural festival organized by students of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. Established in 2004, it is recognized as the second-largest college festival in Uttar Pradesh. The festival spans three days and attracts a large audience, with past events drawing over 12,000 participants from more than 250 colleges across North India.

The festival features over 80 events, including concerts, dance battles, quizzes, fashion shows, and drama performances. It showcases both national and international artists, with notable performances from artists like Benny Dayal, Neha Kakkar, and Farhan Akhtar. Effervescence emphasizes strong organization and management, providing a platform for creativity and cultural expression among students. Upcoming editions include Effervescence 2025 and 2026, continuing its tradition of celebrating cultural excellence.
