Department of Pharmaceutics and Formulation Technology has been set up to provide a suitable atmosphere to young pharmaceutical scientists for designing and developing novel and innovative drug delivery technologies. Drug discovery has become increasingly complex, time-consuming and expensive. Designing of improved drug delivery systems of existing drugs provides an opportunity to optimize therapeutics. To achieve this objective, the students of the department are actively engaged in preformulation profiling, solid state characterization, development of conventional and novel drug delivery systems, in-vitro and in-vivo biopharmaceutical evaluation, and reverse engineering of innovator products. Department offers state-of-the-art facilities to provide students with unique learning experience.
