M. Pharm. (Clinical research), a 2-year postgraduate program, is engaged in systematic study of novel drugs in human subjects to generate data for identifying or verifying the Clinical, Pharmacological and/or adverse effects aiming to determine safety and efficacy of the new drugs. Students of Clinical Research are trained to understand the complexity of the drug development process and its impact on human health. In addition, the program provides a learning platform for the students about different phases of a Clinical trial, BA-BE studies, Health research, Regulatory framework & submissions, Adverse event management, Clinical data management, Bioethics, Trial reporting as well as Retrospective and Prospective studies. The program is built to produce clinical research analysts having the right skill set required to cater the needs of pharmaceutical industry
