The Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), also known as CU Himachal, is a public research university located in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India. Established in 2009, it operates under the Central Universities Act 2009 and is funded by the government. The university is accredited with an NAAC ‘A+’ grade as of 2023 and is regulated by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the AICTE for its technical and management programs.

CUHP offers over 47 full-time academic programs across various disciplines, including Science, Arts, Management, Technology, and Fine Arts, at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The university has three campuses: Dhauladhar Campus in Dharamshala, Shahpur Campus, and Sapt Sindhu Campus in Dehra. Admissions are primarily based on the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET), and the university also provides limited distance education options through its Centre for Distance and Online Education.
